About Sexologist | Sex Therapy | Couples Counselling

Sabrina Stroppetti | Sexologist

Since I will be getting to know you, I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Sabrina, and I’m based in Montreal, Quebec. My interest in sexual health began at 17, when I became aware of the significant gaps in sexuality education within schools. Wanting to better understand and contribute to this field, I began taking sexuality courses during CEGEP.

Driven by a desire to make a difference, I went on to found a sex education business aimed at closing this gap, an initiative that was recognized with a scholarship in 2011. I later pursued a bachelors in Sociology with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies in Sexuality at Concordia University. As well as completing several certificates related to sexology.

Today, I am a licensed sexologist with the Ordre professionnel des sexologues du Québec in Quebec, and I hold a certificate in Sex Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I also have a speciality in Couples Counselling and working with people who are neurodivergent.

Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of collaborating with a wide range of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, sexologists, nurses, and physicians. I have facilitated workshops in schools, community centres, organizations, and businesses across Quebec, and have also worked in the sexual health field in Alberta.

In addition to my clinical and educational work, I spent eight years in the pharmaceutical industry and currently run a supplement company. These experiences have broadened my understanding of health from both clinical and holistic perspectives.

After nearly 20 years in this field, sexology is not just my profession, it is truly my calling. I am deeply passionate about this work and bring both my expertise and my whole self into the space I share with clients.

What continues to draw me to sexology is the opportunity for ongoing learning in a field that is still evolving, as well as the meaningful impact of supporting individuals and couples in an area of life that is often surrounded by stigma and shame.

I welcome you to my private practice.

I view sexuality as interconnected with the mind, body, emotions, and relationships. This approach supports you in reconnecting with your body, understanding patterns of desire and intimacy, and building a more grounded, embodied sense of self. We work with the whole person.
